San Diego is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and San Diego follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

I didn’t expect to find a Korean restaurant this good while traveling in the U.S.. My 9-year-old daughter said she just couldn’t eat hamburger anymore, so we searched for a Korean restaurant and found this place. What a great find! We cautiously ordered three servings of beef short rib meat for our family of five, thinking it might not be enough. We were completely wrong it was more than enough! We almost couldn’t finish it. 😆 And the taste? Maybe because we didn’t expect much from Korean food in the U.S., but it was absolutely delicious. 😊 If you’re visiting San Diego and craving a comforting Korean meal, definitely stop by and give this place a try! 🇰🇷🍖👍

Honestly, this is one of the best Korean restaurants for both traditional Korean entrées and AYCE BBQ. The quality and taste of the meat is really good for the price. It does get quite busy on weekends, but the staffs especially many of the male servers are efficient, attentive, and work really hard to keep things moving. Overall, hands down I have no complaints. To some of the people leaving overly harsh comments, try giving the staffs a little grace. The restaurant gets extremely busy at times, and everyone is doing their best to provide good service. Many employees that I have known spend holidays like Mother’s Day and Father’s Day working instead of celebrating with their own families. Come on man. A little patience, understanding, and appreciation go a long way. Let’s be thankful and treat them with kindness.

FORCED TO PAY FOR A ROACH IN OUR FOOD! The OWNER Justin, COULDN'T EVEN APOLOGIZE. He was so rude. Told the server to offer us soda. He made sure that we paid for the entire meal. I'm even contacting health & food services. This is foul. -Our poor server tried to help us the best he could. He was so nice to us but it was not his fault.-

Had an incredible dining experience at Buga Korean BBQ in San Diego that left me absolutely thrilled and eager to return as soon as possible. The moment we sat down at our table, the waiter fired up the grill with expert precision and brought out an endless array of banchan—crisp kimchi, marinated bean sprouts, spicy cucumber salad, and fish cakes that were all so fresh and flavorful they set the perfect tone for the feast ahead, all complimentary and replenished without hesitation. We ordered the premium galbi, thinly sliced short ribs that sizzled to juicy perfection with a caramelized char, the thick samgyeopsal pork belly that melted in your mouth with every bite wrapped in fresh lettuce leaves alongside ssamjang and garlic slices, and the LA galbi beef that was tender, marinated in a sweet-savory soy glaze, and cooked just right to highlight its rich umami; everything was top-quality meat sourced impeccably, paired with steamed eggs that were fluffy and hot straight from the cast iron pot. The staff were phenomenal—attentive yet never intrusive, constantly checking the grill to ensure even cooking, recommending the perfect soju pairings like chilled fruit-infused bottles that

Went for AYCE happy lunch set for $27pp and was not disappointed. The meat were of good quality and nicely marinated. Ordered assortment of beef and pork and everything came out quickly. I liked the bulgogi the best. The side dishes like spicy rice cake, steamed eggs, fish cake, mixed green salad were all good too! Staff were friendly and worked as efficiently as possible. Decor was simple but who cares? Hilight was the food.
